Old Carpet and interior

was removed, LARGE

rusted through floor pan

holes where found, (they

where both covered under

the carpet with old plywood).

I made new floor pans out

of sheet metal, the holes

where on BOTH sides of car.

After pans where made,

entire floor and interior sills

where covered in "Peel & Seal" for sound deadening,

and insulation.

After struggling without

any success to install the

speedometer cable into

the transmission from under

the car. I cut a hole into the

"Dog House" and made a

removable access panel, to

very easily get to it and install

it. This hole allows access to

the clutch slave and reverse

switch. I may make one for

the other side as well.

Carpet installed, still

have to do the door panels,

got the seat slides cleaned,

painted, greased and working

well.

Left and Right rear interior

fender well, recovered, rear

interior quarter panel redone,

B-piller, new door rubber seal (fur flex), rear parcel shelf carpeted and edge band redone, plus redid the rear

bulkhead panel.

Left and Right Door panels

done, inner & outer window

seals, top door vinyl, and

front speakers mounted with

1" standoffs in front lower corner of doors. (I may move

these to the outer side of the

foot wells).

Left and Right rear speakers installed, (plus showing,

added plastic sheet "weather" guard between door and door panel (or door card).

Added a "Temporary" coffee cup holder until I can get a center console/arm-rest built.

Kick Panel Layouts.jpg

Layout drawn for foot well panels for speakers (moving them from door to here), and foot well lights. Since the panels are exact mirrors of each other, only one side shown. Will just cut both at once and flip the other panel for the other side.

1 Foot well Kickpanels speaker & footwel

Both panels cut out, and spray painted flat black,

"Trunk Carpet" will then be glued on with 3M 90

2 Drivers side foot well panel done.jpg

Drivers side, carpeted, foot well LED light, speaker and foot well light override switch (to turn them off) if the doors are staying open for working inside the car so the battery does not run down.
